He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Melvin Marino; his parents, Clarence Byal and Pauline Byal; and his siblings, Roderick Byal (Anna), Adell Byal and Edwin Byal (Alberta).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Byal; his children, Dawn Carlson (Tim), Glénn Byal (Connie), Annette Silvasi (David), Jack Byal (Bonny) and Carol Wenzel; his siblings, Eileen Scifo (Sam), Clarence (late Catherine), Wesley (Karen) and Jerry Byal (Jeanne); and his parents-in-law, Allan and Marti Marino.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin would be appreciated.
