She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clifton and Nell Van Alstine (Stanchfield); her brother Oliver Van Alstine; her daughter-in-law Andrea Christiansen; and her grandchildren, Micaiah and Abigail Christiansen.
She is survived by: her husband Perry; her children, Keith Christiansen (Barb), Peter Christiansen, Conrad Christiansen (Mette), Beth Branscombe (Frank) and Steve Christiansen; and her sister Frances Ratzlaff of Cottage Grove, MN.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing are required at both events.
Instead of flowers, the family asks friends and loved ones to make donations in Ruth's honor to Operation Smile, a charity organization close to Ruth's heart.
