He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Van Alstine; his sister Verna Heitsch; his daughter-in-law Andrea Christiansen; and his grandchildren, Micaiah and Abigail Christiansen.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Christiansen (Barb), Peter Christiansen, Conrad Christiansen, Beth Branscombe (Frank) and Steve Christiansen. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
