She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gwilt and Anna Gwilt (Meyers); her son Joel Gilles; her siblings, Sigrid "Jim" Gwilt, Rosie Matzek (Chuck), Arthur "Sonny" Gwilt (Margaret) and Avery Hayes (John); and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Hougo (Duwayne), Richard Gilles and Edward Gilles (Carol).

She is survived by: her husband Calvin Gilles; her daughters, Debra Schubert (Mike K.) and Ann Beil (Ben); her grandchildren, Calvin Beil (Alexis), Cathy Beil (James), Allison Beil, Aaron Beil, Michael Swisher (Sarah), Elizabeth Weaver, Jonathon Gilles and Amanda Gilles; her stepgranddaughter Alisa Beil (Lucas); her brothers, Jonathon Gwilt (Mary) and Austin Gwilt (Bonnie); and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Schmitz (Jerry) and Kenny Gilles. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.
