He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Schade and Verna Schade (Brom); his wife Sandra Bodelson; his stepchildren, Faith and John Bodelson; and his sister Joan Heineman.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Laurie Andrews (Warner) of Hager City, Bob Bodelson of Baldwin, WI, Julie Brunkhorst (Jim) of Red Wing and Sharon Shidler of Altamonte Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Alice Shockman (Casey), Alex Andrews (Alison), Lindsey Bodelson (Tommy), Alayna Hammer (Jake), Demi Brunkhorst, Michael Brunkhorst (Kylie), Elizabeth Shidler and Abigail Shidler; his nephew Gene Heineman of Bay City; and his nieces, Cindy Heineman of Osseo, WI and Linda Kolve of Bay City.
Memorials are preferred to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
