With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David A. Schlichting of Hager City, Wisconsin, born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schlichting and Dorothy Schlichting (Johnson); his sister Elizabeth Nelson (Schlichting); and his brother-in-law Gary Lukowicz. He is survived by: his children, Brianna Coonrod and Jacob Coonrod (Jill); his grandchildren, Lydia, Emily, Donnie, Mallie, Hank and Thomas; his sister Elayne Lukowicz (Schlichting); and his brother-in-law George Nelson. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
