He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Kernan of Hager City; his son John Nehring (Connie) of Plano; his granddaughters, Sarah and Cora; his brother Wayne Nehring (Mary) of Hastings; and also, Anne Grunzke (Shawn) of Fairfax Station, Michael Kernan (Kelly) of Maple Grove, Colleen Kernan (Sherri) of Missoula, Jenna, Tyler, Chris and Jack.
