He was predeceased by: his parents, Inga Ofstad (Swanson) and Parrell Ofstad of Superior; his sister Annette; and his grandchildren, Damian Cole and Wendy Nicole.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Dale (Diane) of Gurney, Roxanne Norman (Bruce) of Davenport, Iowa, Robert (Cathy) of Hurley, Daniel (Sharon) of Kimball, Toni Ratkowski (Roger) of Saxon, Jamie (Nichole) of Saxon, Perry (Staci) of Saxon and Stacy (Heidi) of Saxon; and his close friends, Charlotte and Bill Galarno of Gurney. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
