He was predeceased by: his father William C. Moede; his wife Marian Knoke; his daughters, Michelle Kallin and Christy Moede; and his siblings, Allen "Wamp" Moede, Joyce Schultz, Harold Moede, Betty Moede and Guy Moede.
He is survived by: his children, William Moede (Mary), Lori Burr, Steve Moede, Kay Hansen (Jeff), Lisa Prellwitz (Rick) and Jason Moede (Lona); his son-in-law Kenneth Kallin (Mary); and his siblings, Jerry Moede, Joanne Welk, Ruth Eggert, Larry Moede, Bert Moede and Merle "Butch" Moede. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
