Rae C. Ballbach Obituary
Rae C. Ballbach, age 85, of Gresham, WI, formerly of town of Port Washington, WI passed away peacefully Friday, November 24, 2017 at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake. She was born on September 28, 1932 in Oconto Falls; daughter of Fred and Hazel Gardefee George. Rae grew up in Milwaukee. On November 3, 1961, Rae married John M. Ballbach of Port Washington.
Together they settled in the Town of Port Washington. Primarily a homemaker, raising her seven children, Rae worked by her husband"s side throughout their many ventures. Over the years she and her husband operated a hobby farm, keeping bees, raising chickens and horses. She provided management skills, as well as working long days, both inside and outside the home.
In 1989, Rae and John moved to the Shawano area full time. When John preceded her in death on January 15, 2015; Rae soon after returned to this area to be closer to her family. Rae is survived by her children Linda (Bruno) Primas, Sr. of Port Washington, Fred (Mariann) Ballbach of Mayville, Robin (Andy) Ballbach of Arcadia, James Ballbach of Saukville, John (Lorraine) Ballbach, Jr. of Random Lake, George (Heather) Ballbach of West Bend and Jeff Ballbach of Fredonia, fifteen grandchildren Bruno (Janet) Primas, Jr., Rae Ann, William and Paul Ballbach, Ian, Victor and Alia Larson, Erin and Dan Ballbach, Jessica (Ryan) Walvoord, Marissa (Scott) Cowling, Zachary Carr Ballbach, Jennifer and Amanda Ballbach and Devin Gerk and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by her husband John"s siblings Louise (Stewart) Scherf, Lenora Ebert, Bill (Donna) Ballbach, Georgine (Dale) Wulff Sr., Ann Muarasky, Mike (Lynn) Ballbach and Geno (Sherri) Ballbach, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband John Sr. Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at St. Peter"s United Church of Christ, 166 W. Dekora Street, Saukville, WI.
Pastor Craig Modahl will preside. Family will receive relatives and friends from Noon-2PM AT CHURCH.
