With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Hanson (Gresham, Wisconsin), born in Oconto, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 3, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Berns and Violet Berns (Peterson); and her husband Chester Hanson Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Gary Berns (Ellen) of Green Bay, Sue Nowicki (Jerry) of Omro and Jim Berns (Peggy); and her close friend Peter Bowman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
