He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Zimmer and Ruth M. Zimmer (Steele); his siblings, Ruth Albert (Leland) and Glenn Zimmer (Janice); and his grandson Austin Henry Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Wolske of Greenwood; his children, Joel of Greenwood, Scott (Tina) of Greenwood, John (Jo-Ann) of Colorado Springs, CO, Randall of Stratford, Rita Brown (Chuck) of Dodgeville, WI, Shari Suda (Joel) of Greenwood and Rick (Lynda) of Appleton, WI; and his grandchildren, Grete Zimmer, Ana De Lanoy (Jeffrey), Jill Zimmer, John Zimmer (Samantha), Laura Krebs (Jordan), Kaitlyn Johnson (Brettain), Cassie Erickson (Mitchell), Derek Suda (Shana Haas), Blaire Zimmer and Leah Zimmer. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
