Earl R. Mavis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl R. Mavis of Greenwood, Wisconsin, born in Barrington, Illinois, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, August Mavis and Arlene Mavis (Slater); his wife Dorothy Murphy; his siblings, Marion, Pearl, Helen, Betty, Patsy and Glen; and his granddaughter Michelle Montgomery.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Mechler (Jim) of Belvidere, IL, Deb Barr (Jim) of Willard, WI, Bob Mavis (Kelly Masek) of Augusta, WI, Deanna Heiman (Greg) of Neillsville, WI and Dave Mavis (Anne) of Greenwood, WI. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
