He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunnard Peterson and Julia Peterson; and his sister Jane Kantner (Forest). He is survived by: his spouse Elizabeth Williams; and his children, James Peterson (Darlene) of Eden, Sally Meyer (Matthew) of Phoenix and Susan Schneiter (Joel) of Greenwood. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; an adopted grandson; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
