With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Braun of Greenwood, Wisconsin, born in Willard, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 1, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ule and Mary Ule (Lovko); her husband Clayton E. Braun; her granddaughter Stephanie Matter; and her siblings, Tillie Garner, Joseph Ule, Mary Finstad, Olga Hribar and Edward Ule.
She is survived by: her children, David, Clayton Braun (Pat) of Greenwood, Jeanne Matter of Sheboygan Falls, WI and Gary Braun (Peg) of Minong, WI; her grandchildren, Perry Braun (Michelle), Kelly Braun, Matt Braun (Nicky), Kara Braun, Julie Waterman, Joe McElwain (Alison), Melissa Dorn (Chris), Kim Schave (Marcus), Chris Matter (Shelby) and Lindsay Gilman (Doug); and her great grandchildren, Leo, Taylor, Stewart, Alec, Ben, Lorene, Clayton, Gavin, Madelyn, Scarlett, Brienne, Madison, Mckenzie, Claire and Anna. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was cited by the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce as "Outstanding Citizen of the year" on Feb. 3, 1991 for her contribution to the community.
