He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marquardt and Winifred Marquardt (Bazile); his wife Joan Marquardt; his stepmother Florence Marquardt; his siblings, Donald, Clifford Marquardt, Margaret Grim, Doris Tessmer, Betty Lou Wade, Bernice Nuemann-Wade and Evelyn Fields; his daughter Jolene Dorn; and his grandchild Calliope Jo Marquardt.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Stan Dorn (Pam); his children, Amy Ahrens (Mark) and Craig Marquardt (Kristin); his grandchildren, Travis, Josh Dorn, Danielle Morris (Dural), Ashley, Kayla Ahrens, Karlie, Kenzie and Christopher Marquardt; his great grandchildren, Parker Ahrens, Noah and Moriah Morris; and his siblings, DuWayne Marquardt (Shirley) and Germaine Krause.
Kayla had multiple roles at the nursing home from a professional standpoint, but her role as Granddaughter was vital to providing the family love that others could not during the COVID lockdown.
