She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Edwards (Olive) and Ruth Edwards (Herendeen); her siblings, Mary Lou Grimes, Arnie Edwards, Larry Edwards, Don Edwards and Darl Edwards; her parents-in-law, Lester and Ellen Shackel; and her siblings-in-law, Greg and Ursula Shackel.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Shackel; her daughters, Karena Forte (Danilo) of Tampa, FL, Alisa Jeske (Mark) and Christina Vera (Jose David); her stepson Timothy; her daughter Fox Crossing; her granddaughters, Talia, Sabrina, Catrina, Anika Vera, Cora and Hannah Jeske; and her siblings, Tona Whitford, Cheryl Eash (Sherry) and Terry Edwards (Lue). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
Vaneta M. Shackel, 73, Village of Fox Crossing, entered into the nearer presence of her Loving Lord on January 19, 2023, after an 8 year battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's disease.
