He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Nelson and Betty Nelson Eaton; his stepfather Harold Eaton; his brother Randy; and his brother-in-law Larry.
He is survived by: his son Eric Richard (Melissa); his grandchildren, Preston, Carter, Drew, Jaxon, Ryker and Chayse; and his sisters, Lynda Turner, Cindy Kumbier (Alan), Sheree Fischer (Ron) and Laurie Adams (Greg). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
