It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Kaphingst (Greenville, Wisconsin), born in Neenah, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 14, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Thorson and Elinor Thorson (Milgert); her husband Fred Kaphingst; her son Tom Kaphingst; her siblings-in-law, Nola Thorson and Harold Kaphingst (Delores); her son-in-law Marty "Tarn" Young; and also, Emil and Alice Kaphingst.
She is survived by: her children, Dave Kaphingst (Karen) and Sue Hoier (Jim); her grandchildren, Angela Kaas (Collin), Katie Becker (Winchester), Eric "Bud" Kaphingst (Eagan), Carrie Roberts (Chris), Michelle Young, Amanda Kaphingst (Ricky Marteney) and Alan Kaphingst (Jaymie Peterson); her great grandchildren, Ella, Cavin, Tyson, Olivia, Camryn, Tucker, Talia, Brooks and Pierce; her brother Waldemar Thorson; and her nephews, Gary Kaphingst (Sharie), Todd Thorson (Sue) and Tim Thorson. She is also survived by many other relatives, friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Immanuel Lutheran Church and School.
