He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Loppnow and Adela Loppnow (Knuth); his former wife Carol Loppnow; his siblings, Garnet Loppnow and Mike Loppnow; his siblings-in-law, Rev. Karl Wordell, Ric Schmieder, Gary Schaal, Craig Cisar, Tom Black, Tim Black, Janice Loppnow, Diane Cisar and Janice Klatkiewicz; and his parents-in-law, Ray and Erna Boeder (Schwahn).
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, David Loppnow of Brillion, Keith Loppnow (Andrea) of Columbus, Jody Miller (Mark) of New Holstein and Jason Loppnow of Wayside; his grandchildren, Denis Loppnow, Nikolai Loppnow and Andrew Loppnow; his sister Delores Wordell of Norfolk, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Schmieder, Sandy Schaal, Terri Hagerty (John), Charlene Jaeger, Lori Jaeger, Roger Boeder (Carol), Dan Black (Kate), Rick Jaeger (Vicki), Butch Klatkiewicz, Jim Black (Wanda) and Dane Black (Jennifer). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church - Wayside (8378 County W, Greenleaf, WI 54126). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
