He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Borchardt and Hilda Borchardt (Loppnow); his son Mark; his wife Elaine Borchardt (Menges); his grandson Trace William Kvitek; his stepmother Malinda Koch Borchardt; his parents-in-law, Bernhardt and Gladys Menges (Stelzer); his siblings, Gilbert Borchardt (Verna), Wilbert, Norbert Borchardt (Jeanette), Melvin Borchardt, Edward Borchardt, Meinhard Borchardt, Lorina and Luella Miller (Donald); and his brothers-in-law, Lester Lemke and Theodore Lemke.
He is survived by: his children, John (Cindy), Beth (Allan Schultz) of Darboy and Sara (Robbie Kvitek) of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Ben Borchardt (Alyssa), Abby Witthuhn (Logan), Samuel Schultz, Annie Schultz (Dave Skinkis) and Emily Schultz; his sisters, Bernadine Lemke and Esther Lemke; and his sisters-in-law, Judith Menges, Alberta Borchardt, Dorothy Zenke and Carol Borchardt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
