William J. Shikoski Obituary
William John Shikoski May 4, 1950 – September 28, 2023 Passed away on September 28, 2023. Son of the late Charles and Harriet (nee Grant) Shikoski. Survived by his faithful wife, Diane (nee Stockhausen); his 9 children: Jeanette (Eric) Royske, Karl (Michelle), Nathan, Stephanie, Veronica, Joseph, Teresa (Andy) Langer, Paul, and Lydia; 9 grandchildren; and 9 siblings.
William was born in Berlin, WI and raised on a dairy farm in Green Lake, WI. He graduated from Green Lake High School in 1968. In 1972 he graduated from St. Norbert College with a Math degree. In 1976 he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army as a 1st Lieutenant, and then moved to Milwaukee to work as a heavy machine repairman. He jumped into the electrical field in 1999, and eventually earned his Master Electrician License. He resided in Menomonee Falls from 1988 until his passing. In later years he enjoyed restoring antique tractors and doing many projects for people in his life.
Visitation will be Friday October 6, 2023 at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 4-7pm, and again on Saturday October 7, 2023 at Greendale Baptist Church, 5651 S. 51st St. in Greendale, WI from 9am until time of service at 11am. Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery, 19010-19090 W. Main St. in Lannon, WI at 1pm.
