She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Nies; and her grandsons, Brian Nies (Kim) and Daniel Nies. She is survived by: her children, Gary Nies (Carole), Greg Nies (Terri) and Debbie Kumlien (late Dale); her grandchildren, Kristin Wroblewski, Robert Nies (Sheree), Eric Nies, Marcie Kumlien and Robb Kumlien; her great grandchildren, Jon Wroblewski, Sara Wroblewski, Mikel Nies (Jesse), Tyler Nies, Nathan Nies, Madison Nies, Melanie Nies and Jordan Kumlien; her sister Joan (late Ken Eckert); and her godchild Danowski. She is also survived by many other extended family nieces and nephews.
