He was predeceased by: his parents, Viktor Hulita and Anna Hulita; and his brothers, Robert, Richard and Jerome.

He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Jeffrey (Janice) and Lisa Moffett (Michael); and his grandsons, Jack and Bryce. He is also survived by four granddogs.
