He was predeceased by: his daughter Janice Klimaszewski (John); and his parents, Benedict E. Kosmatka and Frances Kosmatka. He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Joyce Schilz (Jerome), John Kosmatka (Ellen), James Kosmatka (Anna) and Jill Kosmatka; his sister Maryann Bohn (Thomas); and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Kielma and Lucille Orlowski.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Donna Lexa Art Centers, 247 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186.
