He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Wagner and Barnette Wagner (Arndt). He is survived by: his children, Wende Wagner of New Orleans, LA and Robert Wagner (Stacy) of Aiken, SC; his grandchildren, Matthew Wagner of Oshkosh, WI, Katy Osborne (Teddy) of Wichita, KS, Caitlyn Socwell of Melbourne, Courtlyn "Charlie" Socwell of Green Bay, WI and Robert; and his great grandchild Liam Osborn.
