With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gene K. Ladwig of Green Lake, Wisconsin, born in Richfield, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Ladwig and Clara Kohnke Ladwig; his son Donny Ladwig; his grandson Myles Bryant; his former wife Doris Ladwig; his brother Roger Ladwig; his sister-in-law Marion Ladwig; and his nephew Loren Ladwig.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Sandberg (Bob) of Minocqua, WI, Patty Roth (Greg) of Ripon, WI and Ken Ladwig (Anne Kallas) of Green Lake, WI; his grandson Elliot Ladwig (Melissa) of Eugene, OR; his children, Haley Richter (Eric) of Fond du Lac, WI, Katelyn Aumann of Marinette, WI, Ashley Powell (Ryan) of De Pere, WI, Natalie of Minocqua, WI, Victor of Minocqua, WI, Jolene Sandberg of Minocqua, WI, Emily Johnson (Erik) of Ripon, WI, Melissa Roth (Matthew Kutz) of Princeton, WI, Lesley Steffen (Nate) of Green Lake, WI, Eric Ladwig (Trisha) of Whitehouse, TX and Andrew Ladwig of Green Lake, WI; and his sister-in-law Catherine "Kay" Ladwig. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Federated Church of Green Lake (489 Scott St, Green Lake, WI 54941). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Bluffton Cemetery.
