He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Kaatz and Emma Kaatz (Radtke); his wife Elfriede Kaatz; and his siblings, Wilbur Kaatz (Hazel), Roland Kaatz (Arlene), Mildred Golz (Albert) and Lillian Hebbe (Alvin).
He is survived by : his children, Gary Kaatz (Kim) of Berlin and Renee Snellgrove (Chuck) of Princeton; his granddaughters, Amanda Erspamer of Berlin, Brittney Erspamer (Ryan) of Ripon, Kayla Salzman (Garrick) of Pickett and Sierra Peters of Princeton; and his great grandchildren, Aliya, Austin, Andre, Avantae, Maliki, Cullen, Elliana, Caden and Maverick. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
