He was predeceased by : his parents, Arnold Alvin and Ruth Alvin (Hallman); and his siblings, Ardis, Elaine and Robert.
He is survived by : his wife Diana Alvin of Green Lake, WI; his children, Kelly Basham (Norman) of Santa Monica, CA, Jodi Schmitt (Scott) of Madison, WI and Chris Alvin (Valerie) of Princeton, WI; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Claire Schmitt, David and Emmit Alvin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
