It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celia Walker (Green Lake, Wisconsin), born in Friesland, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 1, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Dykstra and Sara Dykstra (Kok); her husband Roy; and her son-in-law Ken Hansen. She is survived by : her daughters, Virginia Jensen (Tom) of Neenah, WI, Patricia Hansen of Green Lake, WI and Nancy Billings (Gordon). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hillside Assembly of God, 656 W. Oshkosh St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Linda Jansen wrote a sympathy message

“Dear beloved ones of Celia, For many years I wrote Celia letters from Friesland, the Netherlands. It was in the year 2000, I was sixteen years old, when we found eachother as penpalls. The years passed by and I wrote her about my study, marriage, children, work. She wrote me about her days, family, friends, church and the people she missed, like Roy. I hope she is with him now. I still have her letters and I still very often think of her. With love, Linda”
