With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Cornelius Smits in Green Bay, Wisconsin, born in De Pere, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid William Cornelius farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William Cornelius is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bette Smits and William Smits; and his sister Jean Ann Faltynski. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smits; his children, Sara Keeney (Clint), William Smits (Krystle) and Brenda Smits; his grandchildren, Jack, Claire, Pearl Keeney, Elsie and Sienna Smits; and his sister Mary Ann Willems.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church (1731 St Agnes Dr, Green Bay, WI 54304).
