In the vast expanse of eternity, Scott Steven shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Scott Steven farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Mertens and Ivy Mertens (Pechman) of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.. He is survived by: his wife Kathreen Mertens; his son Neal Mertens; and his sister Sharon Robinson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (340 S Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301, USA). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to go towards a tree or bench at Green Isle Park, where Scott enjoyed daily excursions in his wheelchair.
