It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Ryan Sr. of Green Bay, Wisconsin, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Ryan and Clare Ryan (Murphy); his wife Elaine Ryan; and his siblings, Mary Buck of Virginia, Gerald and James Ryan.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Ryan, Little Suamico, Mary Christine Van Dercook (Jim) of Scottsdale, AZ, Linda Cummens (Tim), Steven Ryan, Scott Ryan, Green Bay, Laurie Ryan, Lacy Ott (John), LaCrosse and Kevin Ryan (Amy) of Olatha, KS; his brothers, Thomas Ryan of Kensington, MD and William Ryan (Connie); his sister-in-law Anita Ryan; and his close friend Marge Miller. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great-granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in Richard's name be given to St. Jude Research Hospital or St. Joseph Indian School.
