He was predeceased by: his mother Kathleen L. Barton (Flaherty); and his wife Cherri Barton (Peerenboom). He is survived by: his father Lester J. "Jim" Barton (Gloriann) of Superior, WI; his children, Nick Barton of River Falls, WI and Kharmilla Barton of Las Vegas, NV; his stepchildren, Joni Rose of River Falls, WI, Street of League City, TX and Wes Peerenboom of Green Bay, WI; and his siblings, Patrice (Jerry) of Milwaukee, WI, Bill Barton (Carol) of Bristol, TN, Jim Barton of Fairbanks, AK and Colleen Strasburg (Steve) of Spooner, WI. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Christ the King (1410 Baxter Ave, Superior, WI 54880). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
