Richard Haworth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Richard E. Haworth, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Richard passed away peacefully at his home on April 25th, 2023, at the age of 89.
Richard was born on August 19th, 1933, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He married the love of his life, Dorothy Jessogne, on February 19th, 1955. They have been married for 68 years and were a true testament to the power of love and commitment.
Richard served his country honorably in the Navy for four years during the Korean War, spending most of his time on the USS Midway. After his service, he worked as a switchman for 37 years for CNW Railroad, retiring on August 1st, 1994.
In his free time, Richard loved working in his garage, building birdhouses, and watching the birds. He was an avid radio listener and loved traveling with his wife. Playing cards and dominoes with family and friends.
Richard will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and deep love for his family. Richard is survived by his loving wife Dorothy and their six children: Robert (Linda) Haworth, Ellen Haworth, Joseph (Kim) Haworth, Scott Haworth, Brian (Kelly) Haworth, and Stephen Haworth. Six grandchildren: Alex (Revena) Zeise, Nicholas (Stephenie) Haworth, Ryan Haworth, Robby Haworth, Josh Haworth, and Mitch Haworth. Six great-grandchildren: Christian Zeise, Gavin Zeise, Zoey Zeise, Aubree Haworth, Landon Haworth and Jayda Haworth. Sister-in-law Joan Haworth. Brother-in-law: Bob (Gloria) Jessogne. Sisters-in-law: Helen Caelwaerts, Carol Caelwaerts, Marilyn Jessogne.
Richard is preceded in death by his granddaughter Jill E. Zeise, David (Joyce) Haworth, Madeline (Mike) Vallier, Caroline (Arnie) O'Brien, Leland Haworth, and Ron (Tiny) Haworth, Russel (Mary) Jessogne, Pin (Mert) Jessogne, Elaine (Tom) Lison, Kenneth Jessogne, Arnold Caelwaerts, Ralph Caelwaerts.
