He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mortonson and Elizabeth Mortonson (Schwarzkopf); his wife Betty; his brother Warren Mortonson; his siblings-in-law, Leroy, Clifford Thompson, Margaret Mortonson and Dorothy Thompson; and his niece Valli Power.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Wilim (Wolfgang); his grandson Nikolaus; his son Mark (Beth); his grandchildren, Christopher and Cathleen Tortorella (Nick); his daughter Karen Kline (Kevin) of Tallahassee, FL; his grandsons, Eric (Lindsay), Adam (Emily), Aaron and Ryan (Kristin); his son John (Connie); and his grandsons, Michael (Karen) and Andrew (Hannah). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
