He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Rotter and George Rotter; his in-laws, Betty and Gil Zieman; and his brother Jim.

He is survived by: his wife Lynda Rotter (Zieman); his children, Cary (Leslie Rotter), Jef (Julie Rotter) and Kristy; his son-in-law Steve Stoddard of Fairfax Station, Virginia; his grandchildren, Matthew, Skylar Rotter, Nathan, Jaden Rotter, Alexander, Jennifer, Samantha Stoddard and Quinn Drescher; his sister Mitzi Rotter; and his constant buddy Rikki Tikki. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lyndahl Funeral Home (1350 Lombardi Ave, Green Bay, WI 54304). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
