With solemn reverence, we commemorate Opal Louise Cartier of Green Bay, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on April 22, 2025 at the age of 103, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Christian and Louise M. Framnes (Pipgrass); her husband Ralph "Nick" Cartier; her grandson Nathan Stone; and her son-in-law Fred Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Cartier-Stone, Nick Cartier (Sharon), Cheryl Cartier and Patti Cartier-Neely (Mark Neely); her grandchildren, Gabriel Neely (Ingrith Mayir Rojas), Crystal LaChance (Tristan), Ryan Neely (Allison), Samuel Feller (Brittney), Danielle Baird (Ken), Jessica Stone-Grusin (Rob) and Meghan Stone (David Boenisch); and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Trevor (Kristen Bennett), Mason, Spencer Baird, Miles, Oliver, Alex, Andie Grusin, Allison Stone, Cartier Gunesch and Thea LaChance. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (341 Wilson Ave, Green Bay, WI 54303). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be used to purchase a bench near Opal at Green Valley Cemetery or to benefit the Green Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
