We bid farewell to Michael J. Berken of Green Bay, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 24, 2024 at the age of 69. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Berken and Rosemary Berken; his father-in-law Pat Bowers; his sister Patti Berken; and his niece Heather Lynn Dantoin.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Berken (Bowers); his children, Emily Weidemann (Robb) and Ben Berken (Courtney); his grandchildren, Jarrett, Amara Weidemann, Zoey, Ruby and Maylee Berken; his mother-in-law Gerry Bowers; his siblings, Craig Berken (Kathy), Tony Berken (Bonnie), Mary Rae Johnson (Jerry), Kitti Rodriguez (Victor) and Karen Watermolen (Mike); and his in-laws, John Bowers (Nancy), Karen Petasek (Steve) and Kathy Paider (Jesse).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (2771 Oakwood Dr, Green Bay, WI 54304). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that memorial gifts be designated to Neurology at the Mayo Clinic in memory of Mike. Donations to the Mayo Clinic can be made by phone, online or mail.
