He was predeceased by: his mother Gail Maes (Conard); and his father-in-law David Heesaker. He is survived by: his father Thomas Maes (Bonnie Mason); his wife Vicki Heesaker; his sons, Ian Skenandore (Leah) and Brady Maes; his siblings, Missy Maes and Troy Maes (Stacy); his mother-in-law Carol Heesaker; his siblings-in-law, Catherine Martin (Tom) and Martin Heesaker; his godchildren, Morgan (Baran), Jarod, Nick and Noah; and his pet Piper. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established.
