He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nitka and Lorraine "Bernice" Nitka (Servais); his parents-in-law, Roland and Shirley Cayemberg; his brothers, Joe Nitka (Beverly) and David Nitka (Kathy); his siblings-in-law, Dale Cayemberg and Laura Cayemberg; and his nephews, Jake Stanke and Chad Smits.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cayemberg; his sons, Jimmy Nitka (Tracy) and Wayne Nitka (Tammy); his grandson Evan; his stepgrandson Dayton Coullard; his siblings, Randy Nitka (Mary) and Donna Gust; his siblings-in-law, Terry Nitka, Marvin Cayemberg (Amy), Diane Cayemberg, Joan Emanuelson (Bruce), Jean Clark, Debbie Stanke (Dave) and Clete Cayemberg; and his nieces and nephews, Joash and Shannon Smits.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home (1630 E Mason St, Green Bay, WI 54302). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
