He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Cantwell and Patricia K. Cantwell (O'Donnell); his siblings, Kathleen Danen (Ralph) and Patrick Cantwell; his brother-in-law Milfred "Bud" Manning; his niece Mary Lea St. Thomas; his nephews, Tom Manning and Jeffrey Danen; and his in-laws, Valentine and Lucille Drzewiecki II (Kozloski).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Drzewiecki; his children, Paul Cantwell (Cyndi), Amy VandenAvond (Tom) and Jennifer Cantwell (Kris Bjorlin); his grandchildren, Anthony Cantwell (Lauren), David Cantwell (Maddie), Elizabeth Cantwell, Andrew VandenAvond (Avery), Eric VandenAvond, Aleksander Bjorlin, Hans Bjorlin and Anders Bjorlin; his sister Margaret "Peggy" Manning; and his siblings-in-law, Valentine Drzewiecki III (Dianne) and Lorraine Loritz (Leon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Willebrord Catholic Church (209 S Adams St, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in his name.
