He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Bunnell and Goldie Bunnell (Bedor); his wife Shirley Zuleger; his son Lavern Bunnell; his siblings, Elsie Allen (Andy), Veryl Bunnell (Artis), Robert Bunnell (Rebecca), Betty Reiland (George) and Theresa Bunnell; his granddaughter Melissa; his great grandchild Brandon; and his godsons, Robert and Michael Bunnell.
He is survived by: his children, LaVon Deshler (Fred), Marilyn Dunkel (James), Joan Gerbers (Rick), Carol Kreischer, Mark Bunnell (Angie), Jere Bunnell (Ro) and Chrisy Bunnell; his goddaughters, Cheryl and Charlotte; and his brother Lloyd Bunnell. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
