With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ignatius Gorenc of Green Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius Gorenc and Mary Gorenc (Pauc); his former wife Maureen Gorenc; his sister Mici Bregant (Ed); and his siblings-in-law, Don Lobacz and Lilly Gorenc.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Carrie" O'Brien of Matthew's Parish; his children, Greg Gorenc (Sandy), Jeff Gorenc (Kaye), Chris Hendricks (Dave), Lisa Wanek (Tom), Vince O'Brien (Amy), Jeannie O'Brien Loper (Don), Colleen Janssen (Joe), Maureen O'Brien Rolhouse (Jim) and Julie O'Brien Tennent (Bob); his grandchildren, April Britto (Carlo), Aaron Gorenc (Jessica), Heather VandenLangenberg (Brian), Mitchell Hendricks (Liz), Kelleen Hopfensperger (Tony), Josie Kaphingst (Tyler), Brittany Umentum (Shawn), Colin Wanek (Janelle Steinich), Katy Jantscher (Tom), Sarah Berceau (Trevor), Nathan Janssen, Meghan Janssen and Kelly Azinge; his great grandchildren, Aaden, Gwynn, Penn Gorenc, Caleb, Joshua Britto, Ava, Aria VandenLangenberg, Hugh Hopfensperger, Hayden Kaphingst, Alexia Berceau, Zachary Berceau, Lucia Jantscher, Gabriel Jantscher and Dominic Jantscher; and his siblings, Aggie Lobacz, Joan Hynek (Mel), Frank Gorenc and Tom Gorenc (Althea).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (333 Hilltop Dr, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
