He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn LaPointe (Fezatte) and Henry A. LaPointe Sr.; his brother Henry V. LaPointe, Jr. (Sue); and his nephew Andrew Pluff. He is survived by: his siblings, Jan Hall (Mike Newconb); Jacqueline Pluff (Charles) of Rochester Hills, MI and Bill LaPointe (Pat); his children, Christine Hawthorne (Michael), Robert LaPointe and Dawn LaPointe; and his grandchildren, Kenny Herlache, Alicia Zelenskiy (David), Andrea Herlache (Jesse), Justin LaPointe, Keyandra Greer, Kaden Greer and Kobe Rockmore.
