He was predeceased by: his parents, Albin Nelson and Freda Nelson (Dahm); and his siblings, Carl Nelson and Margaret Westenfeld (Harold). He is survived by: his wife Caryl Cobb; his sons, Mark Nelson (Kate), Paul Nelson (Jinell Warson) and John Nelson (Susan); his grandchildren, Samantha Peterson (Joel), Kayla Malechi (Zack), Grace Ferfecki, Bennet Ferfecki, Isabel Ferfecki, Nicholas Nelson (Lisa Drayer), Natalie Blakeley (Chad), Steven Babbit (Christine), Erik Babbit (Kassie) and Skyla Shobe (Kyle); his sister Ileen Nelson; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Pederson (Ronald). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (1301 S Ridge Rd, Green Bay, WI 54304). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
