He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman and Olive; his siblings, Sally Peters (John), Linda Rhoat (Gordon), Bonnie Long, Carol Raymond, Cindy Shanks (Roy) and Roy Schmidt; his mother-in-law Patricia Verheyen; and his brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Verheyen and David Verheyen.
He is survived by: his wife Cheri Verheyen; his children, Gerald Jr. (Laura) and Kerry; his grandchildren, Jayden and Jaxyn; his sisters, Rose Dunham (Ole) and Mary Lou Emmert; and his sister-in-law Rita Schmidt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Howard Memorial Park (1350 N Military Ave, Green Bay, WI 54303). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Gerald's name has been established.
