It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Esther Henrietta Gerrits of Green Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 97, on January 12, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Lemmens and Elizabeth Lemmens (Dercks); and her husband Bill. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Wojkiewicz, Joyce Libal (Steve), Christine Van De (Merlin), Donna Van Eycke, John "Jack" Van Eycke (Lou Ann) and Laurie Becker (Bob); her stepdaughter Rose Kiesling (Dana); her friend Mary Leclerq; and also, Larry, Cindy, Sherry, Connie, Johnny and Jody. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (1484 9th St, Green Bay, WI 54304). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Esther may be made to benefit Unity Hospice.
