Donna Durawa Obituary
The passing of Donna Durawa (Green Bay, Wisconsin) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 86. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph N. Gerrits and Frances Marie Gerrits (Van Hammond); her husband James Durawa; her siblings-in-law, Charles Benkendorf, Victor Dorn, Edward Pflum, Clifford Osen, Carol Dorn, Mary Ann Pflum and Ruth Osen; her nephews, Matthew Dorn and Nick Pflum; and also David Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Jaye M. Mortensen of Milwaukee, Andrew J. Durawa (Thea) of Whitefish Bay and James J. Durawa (Ann Brock) of Milwaukee; and her grandchildren, Xavier Durawa, Amara Durawa (Eamonn Wayson), Lilia Mortensen, Ella Mortensen and Anna Mortensen. She is also survived by one great-grandchild, August Wayson, and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (333 Hilltop Dr, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Parish (333 Hilltop Dr, Green Bay, WI 54301). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Allouez Catholic Cemetery (2121 Riverside Dr, Green Bay, WI 54301).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The family will be donning purple scarves and ties for Alzheimer's awareness; please feel free to dress in color and help us celebrate Donna's life.
