He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimir Pionek and Louise Pionek (Holper); his brother Tom Pionek; and his niece Colleen Dethloff. He is survived by: his spouse Su Bode; his children, Mara Pionek (Aaron Piontek), Gia Pionek, Dana Pionek (Elisa), Jeff Pionek (Debbie), Shea Pionek (Jody) and Shad Pionek (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Olivia Heagle, Tristin Pionek, Allie Pionek, David Pionek, Isaac Pionek, Felix Pionek and Milo Pionek; his sister-in-law Kathleen Pionek; his niece Maureen Dahl; and his nephews, Jeff Dethloff and Tom Pionek (Jennifer). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
